This event will start with a walking tour of the crowded streets and alleys of San Francisco Chinatown. You’ll learn about the historic and cultural development of this community and reasons of Chinatown’s distinctive architecture, and social significance of the neighborhood. The walking tour is followed by one-hour guided Museum tour that includes an overview of Museum history and an interpretation of the main exhibit, “The Chinese of America: Toward a More Perfect Union.”

NOTE: This event requires advance registration. There will be NO registration and payment at the door.

Also, please arrive BEFORE 3:30 PM. Walking Tour begins promptly at 3:30 PM.
